
Incheon Port has opened, a smart logistics center. On June 10, a ceremony took place, in Songdo’s Aam Logistics Complex. The center uses, robots and artificial intelligence, to streamline cargo operations.
The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, and Incheon Port Authority, invested 42.8 billion won, in the 19,000-square-meter facility. Robots organize cargo, and AI tracks inventory. Incheon Global Fulfillment Center, will start operations, in the third quarter.
The center will primarily handle, cargo for small and medium-sized shippers. It is expected to process, up to 12,000 TEU annually. Advanced logistics and multimodal transport, will enhance Incheon Port’s competitiveness.
The Port Authority stated, the center sets, a new standard, for smart logistics. Incheon Port’s technological advancement, is gaining attention.
