양대 노총 택배 노조가 오는 21일 국회 정문 앞에서 공동 기자회견을 엽니다. 민주노총 전국택배노동조합과 한국노총 전국택배산업노동조합입니다. 노조 측에 따르면 지난 8월 30일 간담회를 시작으로 2단계 사회적 대화 논의가 열렸습니다. 작년 9월부터 이어진 1단계에서는 기존 사회적 합의 이행과 야간노동 위험 완화를 다뤘고, 중간 합의는 나오지 않았다고 했습니다. 두 노조는 2단계에서 ‘수입이 줄지 않는 주5일제’를 안건으로 올리자고 정부와 국회, 화주, 택배사, 대리점, 소비자단체에 제안합니다. 노조는 야간 배송은 1년 안에, 주간은 시차를 두고 주5일제로 가자 는 공감대가 있었다고 설명합니다. 특수고용 형태인 택배 기사 상당수가 여전히 주 6일 또는 주 5.5일로 일한다는 것이 노조 주장입니다. 주5일만 도입하고 수입 보전이 없으면 현장이 받아들이기 어렵다는 입장입니다. 요구이지, 노사정이 합의한 제도는 아닙니다. The two main courier unions — under the KCTU and the FKTU — will hold a joint briefing at 10 a.m. on 21 September outside the National Assembly. They want stage-two social dialogue to take up a five-day week that does not cut pay. After an 30 August meeting, they say stage one, which ran from last September, reviewed earlier social accords and night-work risks but produced no interim deal. The unions say there was a shared sense that night couriers should move to five days within a year and daytime work on a longer timetable. They argue most couriers, as special-type workers, still work six or five-and-a-half days. A five-day week without income protection would fail on the ground, they say.
