JD Logistics said it aims over five years to procure 3 million robots, 1 million unmanned vehicles and 100,000 delivery drones. Those are targets, not the current fleet. The plan is to widen automation from warehouse picking and sorting through haulage and last-mile delivery. In its filings as of 30 June 2026, the company said thousands of unmanned vehicles were already in regular service across more than 20 provinces in China, with more than 100 domestic drone routes.
