롯데마트가 부산 강서구에 온라인 전용 고객 풀필먼트 센터 ‘제타 스마트센터 부산’을 가동했다고 9일 밝혔습니다.2023년 12월 착공해 약 2000억 원을 투자한 이 센터는 연면적 4만㎡ 규모로, 최대 3만5000개 상품을 취급합니다. 냉장·냉동 상품만 약 1만 개를 운영합니다.영국 오카도의 통합 솔루션 OSP가 국내 처음으로 적용됐습니다. 최대 1000대의 AI 로봇이 격자형 레일 위를 이동하며 상품을 운반하고, 피킹부터 포장·출하까지 주요 과정을 자동화합니다. 주문 접수 후 배송 준비까지 약 30분이 소요됩니다.특히 영하 25도 냉동 구역에 작업자 없이 로봇이 상품을 이동하는 ‘오토 프리저’ 시스템을 오카도 파트너사 중 처음으로 도입했습니다. 상품 입고부터 배송까지 적정 온도를 유지하는 엔드투엔드 콜드체인을 구축했습니다.배송 대상은 부산과 영남권 약 400만 세대입니다. 고객은 2~3시간 단위로 원하는 시간을 선택할 수 있으며, 하루 최대 13회 배송이 가능합니다. 롯데마트는 2030년까지 전국 6개 제타 스마트센터를 구축할 계획입니다. Lotte Mart announced on the 9th that it has begun operating the Zetta Smart Center Busan, an online-only customer fulfillment center in Gangseo-gu, Busan.Construction started in December 2023 with an investment of about 200 billion won. The center has a floor area of 40,000 square meters and can handle up to 35,000 items, including about 10,000 refrigerated and frozen products.It is the first facility in Korea to apply Ocado’s integrated solution, the Ocado Smart Platform (OSP). Up to 1,000 AI robots move on a grid rail system to transport goods, automating key processes from picking to packing and shipping. Order processing to delivery preparation takes about 30 minutes.Notably, it introduced an “Auto Freezer” system—the first among Ocado partners—that allows robots to move products in the -25°C freezer zone without human workers. An end-to-end cold chain maintains proper temperatures from inbound to delivery.The center serves approximately 4 million households in Busan and the Yeongnam region. Customers can select delivery slots in 2–3 hour intervals, with up to 13 delivery rounds per day.
