Chairman Chung Yong-jin and Reflection AI CEO Misha Raskin signed an MOU on March 16 local time at San Francisco's National AI Center, with U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick attending. The 250 MW facility will be the biggest in Korea, with NVIDIA GPUs supplied through Reflection AI. Reflection AI, founded by AlphaGo developers and others, raised $2 billion from NVIDIA last year and is valued at over $8 billion. Shinsegae plans to use the center to develop AI commerce and full-stack AI solutions, ushering in an 'Emart 2.0' era and advancing Korea's AI ecosystem.
