관세청이 이집트와 특송물류 시스템 수출을 위한 MOU를 체결했습니다. 18일 카이로에서 이명구 관세청장과 아흐메드 아마위 로빈 이집트 관세청장이 참석한 가운데 공적개발원조(ODA) 사업으로 이집트 특송화물 물류 자동화와 시스템 현대화, 세관 공무원 역량 강화를 추진합니다. 양해각서에는 한국의 시스템 개발·유지보수 기술 자문, 연수 프로그램, 특송물류창고 부지 확보 등이 포함됐습니다. 이는 유니패스에 이어 한국형 특송물류시스템 해외 보급 첫 사례로 관세행정 국제표준 선도 발판이 될 전망입니다. 이명구 청장은 "글로벌 사우스 국가 중심 유니패스 확산으로 세계 무역 원활화에 기여하겠다"고 밝혔으며 로빈 청장은 "통관 효율화와 무역환경 개선 기대"라며 협력을 약속했습니다.
